You were the absolute best guide! The cafe stop was a welcomed break from the heat(loved the Greek coffee), teaching us the meaning of the Greek gesture: ftou ftou ftou -😃, best gyros ever, moreover highlighting the points of interest/landmarks and providing a detailed history of your beloved Thessaloniki and its many levels. Our guide met us at the ship on time for our walking tour. He was knowledgeable and personable giving us historical and modern information about the city. He treated us to a couple of local specialties as we meandered through the city taking in its rich history. We did go to the Metro station to view the unearthed finds from antiquity. The Metro stop was probably my favorite, but we also went to a church built in the 500s. All in all a great tour and guide. I highly recommend!

Excellent walking tour of Thessaloniki
Barbara was an excellent guide and gave us wonderful explanations of the history of Thessaloniki. We left with a good understanding of its history along with great suggestions for additional activities and restaurants we should consider during our visit. I am glad that I wore good walking shoes because the tour was about 4 and a half hours. This tour is a must if you have never visited Thessaloniki and would like to understand it’s historiy.
