Follow the path of Apostle Paul through Greece and step into the places where the early Christian Church began to grow in Europe.
This 10-day religious and cultural journey traces key moments from St. Paul’s second and third missionary journeys, combining biblical history, sacred sites, Byzantine heritage, archaeological landmarks and the beauty of Greece.
The program begins in Northern Greece, where St. Paul first arrived in Neapolis, today’s Kavala, before continuing to Philippi, Amphipolis, Apollonia, Thessalonica and Veria. These destinations bring the Acts of the Apostles to life through guided visits, scripture references and meaningful moments of reflection.
The journey continues to Meteora, one of Greece’s most impressive spiritual landscapes, before reaching Athens and Corinth, where St. Paul preached to the Greek world and stood before the Bema.
The experience is completed with a 4-night cruise to the Greek islands and Kusadasi, including Mykonos, Patmos, Rhodes and Santorini, offering a beautiful conclusion to a journey of faith, history and discovery.

Thessaloniki became one of the most important Christian centers of the early Church and later played a major role in the development of Eastern Orthodox Christianity during the Byzantine period.
Apostle Paul visited the city during his second missionary journey, as described in Acts 17. His letters to the Thessalonians are among the earliest writings of the New Testament and reflect the life of one of the first Christian communities in Europe.
Depending on arrival time, the group begins with a guided Byzantine tour of Thessaloniki, including major Christian landmarks such as the Basilica of Saint Demetrius and the Church of Saint Sophia.

After breakfast, depart for Kavala, ancient Neapolis, where Apostle Paul first landed in Europe.
Continue to Philippi, one of the most important stops of St. Paul’s missionary journey. Philippi holds a special place in Christian history, as it is where Paul founded the first Christian church in Europe around 49–50 AD, according to Acts 16.
The guided visit includes the archaeological site of Philippi and the area connected with the preaching and imprisonment of Apostle Paul.
A major highlight of the day is the Sacred Baptistery of Saint Lydia of Philippi. Saint Lydia is remembered as the first recorded convert to Christianity in Europe, and her baptism marks a key moment in the spread of the Christian faith.

After breakfast, depart for Veria, ancient Berea, one of the significant cities connected with Apostle Paul’s second missionary journey.
According to Acts 17:10–12, Paul visited Berea after leaving Thessalonica. The people of Berea are described as open-minded and eager to listen, carefully examining the Scriptures in response to Paul’s teaching.
The group visits Apostle Paul’s Square, where a monument stands as a reminder of his presence in the city. Depending on the final program, the visit may also include the Byzantine-era Church of Saint Paul and parts of the local Pauline route connected with his passage through the region.

After breakfast, depart for Meteora, one of the most breathtaking religious and natural landmarks in Greece.
Meteora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its dramatic rock formations and monasteries built on top of towering cliffs. The name “Meteora” means “suspended in air,” perfectly describing the monasteries that seem to rise above the landscape.
Originally established as places of prayer, isolation and spiritual refuge, the monasteries of Meteora remain active centers of Orthodox monastic life today.
The group visits two of Meteora’s major monasteries with a licensed guide, while enjoying the impressive scenery and the spiritual atmosphere of the area.

After breakfast, depart for Athens and Corinth, two essential destinations in the story of Apostle Paul in Greece.
In Athens, Apostle Paul preached at the Areopagus around 50–51 AD during his second missionary journey. Speaking to Greek philosophers, he referred to the “Unknown God” and proclaimed the resurrection of Jesus Christ, one of the first recorded moments of Christianity being introduced to the Greek intellectual world.
The group approaches the Areopagus Hill and visits the Ancient Agora, the ancient marketplace at the foothill of the Acropolis, where Paul encountered the people of Athens.
Continue to Ancient Corinth, another vital place in Paul’s ministry. Corinth was home to an important early Christian community, and the site includes the Bema of Paul, where he was brought before the Roman proconsul Gallio.

After breakfast, transfer to the port of Lavrion for embarkation on the 4-night cruise.
