Nights at the Museum – Meteora is a unique after-dark experience that transforms the Natural History Museum of Meteora into an atmospheric journey through nature, wildlife, mushrooms and local flavors.

Once the doors close and the sun goes down, the Museum takes on a completely different character. Your evening begins with a warm welcome and introduction before entering the zoological section. Special lighting and natural sounds bring the exhibits to life while stories and videos introduce you to wildlife, nocturnal animals and the natural environment of the Meteora region.

The experience then continues into the Mushroom Museum, where forest sounds and specially designed lighting reveal the fascinating world of mushrooms. Discover their different varieties, their role in the ecosystem, local traditions and the importance of mushrooms in both nature and gastronomy.

One of the highlights of Nights at the Museum – Meteora is the mushroom and truffle tasting. Guests can sample a selection of products created by the Museum, accompanied by wine and refreshments, while learning more about their flavors, ingredients and production.

The tasting concludes with a distinctive mushroom liqueur toast, adding an original gastronomic element to the evening.
