Who is
Panagiotis Giannakis, a Greek basketball legend, boasts an illustrious career both as a player and a coach. As a player, Giannakis achieved unparalleled success, notably winning the European Championship in 1987 with the Greek national team. Transitioning to coaching, he continued his legacy of excellence, leading Greece to victory in the European Championship in 2005. Alongside his achievements on the international stage, Giannakis served as the coach for esteemed Greek clubs such as Olympiakos and Marousi BC, leaving an indelible mark on the sport.
